 Phase transitions and physical properties of crystals:
  • growth and studies of new crystalline materials, 
  • investigation of dipolar dynamics in ferroelectrics, 
  • investigation of domain structure and phase front, 
  • investigation of dielectric, optical and electrooptical properties of crystals, 
Equipment:
  • Computerized set-up for dielectric measurements in the frequency range 1mHz - 120MHz, (10 K - 1000 K) 
  • Computerized set-up for birefringence measurements in the temperature range 100 K - 1100 K, 
  • Set-up for studies of the light deflection,
  • AC and DSC calorimetry (80 K - 900 K).
